Teen Austin UNICEF

Our Mission

Teen Austin UNICEF is a registered UNICEF club who stands up for children's rights. We are committed to supporting UNICEF, an organisation that tackles tough issues like poverty, violence, disease, and discrimination. Our dedicated volunteers advocate that every child has what they need to grow up healthy and safe – from healthcare and education to clean water and equal opportunities. Through Fundraisers and Advocacy events, together we're building a better world for kids, one step at a time.

What we do

Teen Austin UNICEF hosts fundraisers and advocacy events at business and organisations all around Austin. So far, we have raised thousands of dollars for UNICEF, but we hope to spread UNICEF's message even further.

Check out our recent and upcoming fundraisers on our Events / Projects page. If you want to collaborate with us, email us at teenaustinunicef@gmail.com or contact us directly through our members and contacts page.

        What is UNICEF?

UNICEF, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, is an organisation that works tirelessly to help children around the world. UNICEF's goal is to ensure that every child, regardless of where they live or their circumstances, has access to the basic necessities like healthcare, education, clean water, and protection from harm. In over 190 countries and territories, UNICEF has worked with governments, communities, and other organisations to reach children even in the most remote areas. From its beginnings in 1946, UNICEF has been advocating for the protection of children's rights to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.
